The museum
traces the history of The Timex Corporation from the 1850’s
to the present. The 18,000 square foot museum is interactive
and educates visitors about the history of time.
Major interior and exterior structural work was involved in
retrofitting the 19th century buildings to meet current code
requirements.
The firm of Joseph L. Calabrese, P.C. served as Construction Administrator
for the Waterbury Development Corporation, Owner of the museum site.
The project construction cost was $3.6 million with construction
duration of 16 months.
